Satan’s Time – Part III The 3 Days of Darkness

“I can destroy your church.” Words spoken to Jesus by Satan over 100 years ago ring resoundingly in the ears of the faithful as should the Lord’s words to St. Peter when the church was first established, “and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against her.” As Fr. William Casey emphasized in his talks on Spiritual Combat that the Lord would not have made such a statement if Satan and his minions were not going to try.

Like me, you probably follow the news. There is much to which we should pay attention as has been foretold in scripture. “Know also this, that, in the last days, shall come dangerous times.  Men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, haughty, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, wicked, without affection, without peace, slanderers, incontinent, unmerciful, without kindness, traitors, stubborn, puffed up, and lovers of pleasures more than of God: Having an appearance indeed of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” [2 Timothy 3: 1 – 5] In reference to the end times, Our Lord also told his disciples in Matthew 24, “Take heed that no man seduce you: for many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many. And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places: Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows.  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.  And then shall many be scandalized: and shall betray one another: and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many.  And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.  But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved.  And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come.” [Matthew 24: 3 – 14]

I have little doubt you will agree with me that the Earth is in great upheaval. Worldwide, temperatures soar from Greece, to Somalia to Alaska and the continental US. In New Orleans, tropical storm Barry devastated the coast. In Mexico, hailstorms last week buried cars in over two meters of hail! California has encountering hundreds of tremors and earthquakes over this past week, many of which exceeded a seismic magnitude of 3 or greater. Additionally, sicknesses we thought were eradicated have resurfaced – typhoid, the Bubonic Plague, HIV, Necrotizing fasciitis and e-Bola to name a few. But is this catastrophic or merely a cyclical pattern?

Such things have occurred in the past, but what I am considering is the frequency of events, the level of destruction and what has been foretold in prophecy from saintly people and from Heaven herself. “For yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall so come, as a thief in the night.  For when they shall say, peace and security; then shall sudden destruction come upon them …But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  For all you are the children of light, and children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” [1 Thessalonians 4: 2 – 5] For many of us, these events parallel with the prophecies at Fatima, Akita and other Marian sites. They are what compel us to begin our preparation for these last days. Consider what Sr. Lucia dos Santos predicted shortly before her death in 2005, “the final battle between Christ and Satan will be over marriage and the family.” Do you see this trending in our modern culture? If not, I don’t believe you’re paying attention. “The reason we have such massive slaughter of the innocents is because we have become a fornicating society, an adulterous society, a masturbating society, a homosexual society and a contraceptive society. Unchaste people are selfish people. They will not stop at murder if an unborn child would be a burden to their indulgence and sexual pleasure.” [Fr. John A Hardon, S.J.]

I feel it is important to examine one additional prophecy from long ago, known as the Vision of Our Lady Good Success in which Our Holy Mother prophesied to Mother Mariana of Jesus Torres of what was to come some 500 years in the future, specifically the late 19th and 20 centuries. The vision took place in 1594. Due to length of the manuscript, I will paraphrase the critical points of the prophecy. “At at the end of the 19th Century and especially in the 20th century Satan would reign almost completely by the means of the Masonic sect. The Queen of Heaven told Mother Mariana that this battle would reach its most acute stage because of various unfaithful religious, who, under the appearance of virtue and bad-spirited zeal, would turn upon Religion, who nourished them at her breast… As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and profaned in the fullest sense of the word. Masonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the objective of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin, encouraging the procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church. The Christian spirit will rapidly decay, extinguishing the precious light of Faith until it reaches the point that there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs…The Sacred Sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed and despised…and many priests will be corrupted. These corrupted priests, will scandalize the Christian people…This apparent triumph of Satan will bring enormous sufferings to the good Pastors of the Church….Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women. In this supreme moment of need of the Church, those who should speak will fall silent… know, beloved daughter, that when your name is made known in the 20th century, there will be many who will not believe…A simple humble faith in the truth of My apparitions to you, My predilect child, will be reserved for humble and fervent souls docile to the inspirations of grace, for Our Heavenly Father communicates His secrets to the simple of heart, and not to those whose hearts are inflated with pride, pretending to know what they do not, or self-satisfied with empty knowledge.” [Except taken from https://www.olrl.org/prophecy/goodsuccess.shtml on Our Lady of Good Success]. Similar Marian prophecies are Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Garabandal (1961 – 1965), Our Lady of Cuapa (1980), Our Lady of San Nicolas (1983 & 1990) and Our Lady of Medjugorje (1981 – present). All warn of dangers to come if humanity does not turn from its selfish and evil ways and repent.

The 3 Days of Darkness

If you recall from the Hebrew Scriptures, darkness once fell upon Egypt over the hardened heart of Pharaoh. The Lord God through the hand of Moses brought forth the ninth plague, “And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch out thy hand towards heaven: and may there be darkness upon the land of Egypt, so thick that it may be felt. And Moses stretch forth his hand towards heaven: and there came horrible darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.” [ Exodus 10: 21 – 22]. The final and tenth plague, which was meant to be pharaoh’s wrath on the Israelites to each first born male, brought God’s ultimate wrath on Egypt with the coming of death.

But the forthcoming darkness (the 3 Days of Darkness) foretold, will be nothing like that which fell upon Egypt. It will be nothing ever seen before on Earth and according the Our Lady of Akita, “If men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. It will be worse than the deluge of the great flood.”

An additional Marian visit which has become known as Our Lady of Cuapa, (Nicaragua) occurred from May 13th – Oct 13th, 1980. Our Blessed Mother appeared to a reluctant visionary, Bernardo Martinez. He had initially asked Mary to please give the vision to another, because he was already heavily burdened; he eventually accepted Our Lady’s invitation. Near to the end of his life, Bernardo became a Catholic priest. In her visitations Our Lady said to Bernardo, “She [Nicaragua] will continue to suffer if you do not change. Pray, pray, my son the Rosary, for all the world. Tell all believers and non believers that the world is threatened by grave dangers. I ask the Lord to appease His justice, but if you don’t change, you will hasten the arrival of the third world war.”

The final notation I will share if from Fr. Malachi Martin. I understand Fr. Martin is a controversial figure, though I personally believe he was devout to our Lord. In 1964, Fr. Martin requested a special dispensation from Pope Paul VI. He would remain a priest, but would be allowed to cease his activities as a clergyman; he was also still bound by his promise of celibacy and to not dishonor the beauty and sanctity of the priesthood. I am referencing Fr. Martin for two reasons. The first reason is his request for a dispensation from his clergy duties in 1964 (in the midst of Vatican II). Martin was disillusioned by the coming reform in the church. In his book, Windswept house, Fr. Martin wrote, “in a short time, humanly speaking, there will be no visible holy Roman Catholic Church organization.” He then repeated, for emphasis, “There won’t be any organization. In the 1960’s there was this diabolical consecration, this enthronement of Satan within the Vatican. … It is a historical fact. … done by Luciferians from all over the world and therefore, in a certain sense, Lucifer has power in Rome. He doesn’t own Rome yet, but I’m sure he hopes to own some future Pope so that the house will be truly his. The only man who can expel Lucifer from Rome is the owner of the house. And that owner is the Pope. The second reason I reference Fr. Martin is what he revealed in a 1998 interview with Art Bell on Bell’s radio show, Coast to Coast. In the interview, Fr. Martin revealed that he was one of a privileged few who read the true third secret of Fatima. After the viewing, he was put under oath not to repeat what he read. He did say however, “it isn’t pleasant; the less you know about it the better.  There is going to be a reckoning and nobody existing on the face of this earth will be exempt from knowing the power from on high.  I think that things are spiraling in such a way that we’re going to undergo severe disturbances, to put it mildly – nationally and internationally.  I think that, if I were to be absolutely frank that a lot of people are going to die violently.  I think we’re coming to a very bad point (repeats, a very bad point).”  Fr. Malachi Martin on Coast to Coast with Art Bell (1996 – 1998).

Some won’t believe what I’ve shared, but the sources are available for anyone to view or give a listening ear. It is not my duty to make anyone believe what I know is the truth; it is only my duty to provide the information as a disciple of Jesus Christ to whom I am consecrated through Our Most Holy Mother. In closing this week, I find it fitting that we pray the prayer given to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa by Our Lady of Akita:

Passion of Christ, strengthen me!
Strengthen me under the pressure of temptation.
Strengthen me when principle is at stake.
Strengthen me to do Your Will, My God.
Strengthen me in moments of suffering,
in times of loneliness,
in periods of depression.
Strengthen me that I may never swerve from You, Dear Christ,
nor weaken through human respect,
through a desire to be popular,
through hope of social distinction.
Strengthen me to accept my cross
and carry it generously to the end.
On the battlefield of life,
stand by me that I may never prove a traitor in the ranks.
Stand by me that I may not be dazzled
by the glitter and glow of the enemy camp. Amen.
