Hi Everyone, it’s been a while and I apologize for not keeping up with my blog. We’ve seen a lot happen in the US since I last wrote, so let’s jump in.
As faithful Catholics, I’m sure that the recent dispensation from live Mass attendance has made you uneasy or should I say I hope it has left you unsettled. To paraphrase Fr. James Altman, spiritual communion is no substitute for the real thing nor is attending mass in your living room. If you have been duped as I was, there is a simple solution – go to Confession and get right with Jesus even if your priest says you were allowed to take this action.
We are living in evil times when a man/woman team can run for the presidency under the guise of justice while supporting abortion up to 9 months of a child’s life. The possibility of such future legislation should turn our stomachs. So we can no longer sit on the sidelines; those days are far past. Pick up your rosaries and meditate on the Sorrowful Mysteries daily as Our Lady told St. Bridget of Sweden. Do it everyday. Go to Mass and a Traditional Latin Mass if you can and spend an hour a week in Eucharistic Adoration and get in the game. We cannot be warriors for Christ if we will not live in the truth, and know Him, love Him and serve Him.
